Unique features of the college

This Medical College has lots of positive points which if developed will be a boon to the people as well as to the students who will study in this medical college.

1. It is the only medical college hospital in Kashmir valley offering all general specialities within one campus.

 2. It is most easily and quickly approachable from all directions as it is located on the highway (Bemina, bypass). Thus making it ideal place for a modern trauma unit to be set up.

 3. It has a huge campus which can be developed with a futuristic plan as most of it is still unclaimed land.

4. It has adequate Faculty  strength for a 150 student in take.

Infra structure wise the requirement is for immediate increase in bed strength by 250.

Next five years plan is to increase bed strength to  additional 250 and finally by 2025 this hospital should have total of 1500 bed with all specialities including super specialities.
